I am MBA Finance student, September 2015 intake. I work with Barclays Bank Ghana as Portfolio Manager for Affluent segment – Retail Banking. In short, my role involves strategic thinking leading to identification of opportunities and developing high level implementation plans for execution. Delivering customer profitability is key to my role. I have seven years of experience in the Banking and Finance industry.
I have a diploma in Accounting, BSc. Commerce, Part qualification in ACCA and my MBA Finance is on-going with Coventry University through GTUC. I had the opportunity to work as SRC Finance Officer back in my tertiary education. I currently function as a Steward in the Methodist Church Ghana, Mizpah Society under Akweteman Circuit which I have done for four years.
My mission is to collaborate effectively with GTUC management, my team and GRASAG (NEC) to deliver improved graduate education to student. Graduate education requires free flow of relevant information accessible to student anytime, anywhere to drive quality research. Graduate education flourishes in a congenial environment including Infrastructure. Graduate education requires discipline and respect for time both at students and facilitators/lecturers level. Graduate education should be reasonably affordable to enable more potential students take advantage to broaden their horizons and develop potentials.
GRASAG, GTUC chapter needs a structured setup including formulation of clear policies to guide behaviours and decisions.
