About the programme
It is a one (1) year collaborative master’s programme between GTUC and Coventry University in UK. The programme explores the nature, role and contribution of supply chain management and its application to industrial and consumer-based supply chains. It equips the student with an understanding of supply chain management from both a customer and supplier perspective. It also prepares our students for a managerial role in a supply organization.
A sufficient understanding is developed for students to appreciate how supply chain management and supplier development can contribute to superior business performance and competitive advantage. Planning, sourcing and delivery decisions are critical knowledge areas which are effectively transferred. Due to current globalised nature of business operations and its impact on the total supply chain, students are well grounded with possible future trends and the relationship with agility, strategy and customer value.
Other knowledge areas extensively dealt with are planning and managing uncertainty,safety inventory, determining optimal level of product availability, materials resource planning (MRP) and just-in-time systems (JIT).

Degree-A Bachelor’s degree (at least Second Class Lower) in business, economics or related area. Applicants to MBA programmes must have at least two years work experience.
Diploma– Higher National Diploma (HND) or 2-year Diploma from an accredited university. Applicants must have at least four (4) years post graduation work experience.
Professionals-Chartered member from a professional qualifying bodies; preferably, CIPS, CILT or ICBA. Applicants must have at least two (2) years post qualification work experience.
